Apple、4.8～6インチサイズの大型iPhone開発計画

カラバリ展開されると噂の次世代iPhone発表会が近づいてますが、そのさらに次の一手が報道されています。

The electronics giant has begun evaluating a plan to offer iPhones with screens ranging from 4.8 inches to as high as 6 inches, people familiar with the matter say.

サプライヤー筋の情報として、Appleはここ数ヶ月の間に大画面iPhoneを試しており、特に4.8インチに注目しているとのこと。

現行iPhoneとiPad miniの間を埋める大型iPhoneの計画が進んでいるようです。

これが実際に出てくるかどうかはまた別の話ですが、CNETの調査を見る限り、大きなニーズがあるのは間違いなく、不戦敗で済ますわけにはいかないでしょうね。

また大型iPhoneとは別に、iPhoneの上位モデルが指紋センサーを備えるという話もWSJには載ってます。

個人的には「非接触充電はよぉ」という気持ちなのですが、あんまりそういう噂は出てこないという。
